At Pro Pet Train, we specialize in training a wide variety of animals, including mostly dogs, horses, but also, exotic birds, birds of prey, and more. Pro Pet Train has worked with many professional zoological facilities nationwide training animals, zoo keepers, and other trainers. After many years as a professional animal trainer at major zoos and theme parks, Pro Pet Train was established in 2015. Pro Pet Train has a ranch facility located in Bunnell, FL, and services all surrounding areas.

Courtney Festa
Courtney Festa is the founder and owner of Pro Pet Train Inc. Courtney has had a passion for animals since she was little and started riding and showing horses at the age of seven. While attending the College of Charleston, she discovered the perfect program to complement her passion for animals at Sante Fe Community College Teaching Zoo. This program allowed her to find her dedication and fascination for the behavioral motivations of animals.
After graduation, Courtney joined one of Florida’s best behavioral science and training companies, Steve Martin’s Natural Encounters Inc. (NEI). Courtney primarily worked at Disney’s Animal Kingdom facility in the Flights of Wonder Bird show for NEI. In this show, she trained and presented the behaviors of free-flight birds for 10,000 guests daily. In 2006, Courtney was rewarded with the Outstanding Performance Award and assisted the NEI team in designing and producing shows around the country. One of the shows she helped design and build was the Birds of the World Show in Dallas. Four years later, she spent a year as a team liaison at the San Diego Zoo and presented pre-shows, trained show behaviors, managed the animal collection, and assisted in presenting NEI animals in news studios to demonstrate their services. Upon returning to the Disney Operation with NEI, she was awarded the Employee of the Year Award for 2010.
After working for NEI for seven years and fulfilling all of her goals and dreams for the company, Courtney moved to the coastal side of Florida and now resides on the Pro Pet Train ranch facility in Bunnell, Florida.
