Established in 2015 after many years as a professional animal trainer in major zoos and theme parks, Pro Pet Train operates from a ranch facility located in Bunnell, FL, servicing all surrounding areas.

Who We Are
Meet Courtney Festa:
Courtney Festa is the founder and owner of Pro Pet Train Inc., where she offers a variety of pro pet services including Board and Train programs, Doggy Play Dates, and Pet Boarding. Courtney has had a passion for animals since she was little, starting her journey by riding and showing horses at the age of seven. While attending the College of Charleston, she discovered an ideal program to complement her love for animals at Sante Fe Community College Teaching Zoo, which sparked her dedication to understanding the behavioral motivations of animals.
After graduation, Courtney joined one of Florida’s top behavioral science and training companies, Steve Martin’s Natural Encounters Inc. (NEI). At NEI, she primarily worked at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the Flights of Wonder Bird show, where she trained and showcased the behaviors of free-flight birds to 10,000 guests daily. In 2006, Courtney received the Outstanding Performance Award and played a key role in designing and producing shows across the country, including the Birds of the World Show in Dallas. Four years later, she spent a year as a team liaison at the San Diego Zoo, where she presented pre-shows, trained show behaviors, managed the animal collection, and assisted in showcasing NEI animals in news studios. Upon returning to Disney with NEI, Courtney was recognized as Employee of the Year in 2010.
After seven rewarding years with NEI, during which she achieved all her goals and dreams, Courtney moved to the coastal side of Florida, where she now resides at the Pro Pet Train ranch facility in Bunnell, Florida, continuing her work as a dedicated pet trainer.
Our Story
Over the years, we have collaborated with many local animal shelters to tackle the homeless pet crisis. Our efforts to educate people on the science of behavior and training have empowered owners to keep their animals at home instead of surrendering or neglecting them. Additionally, we’ve provided pro pet services that give animals, often mislabeled as problematic, the chance to thrive and enjoy life to the fullest.
With our background in behavioral science and positive reinforcement techniques, we guide and transform many animals with behavioral issues. Through our Board and Train programs and engaging Doggy Play Dates, we help pets overcome fears or dominance behaviors, turning them into some of the most trustworthy and loving companions any owner could desire. Moreover, our pet boarding services ensure that pets receive the care they need while their owners are away.
